Perennial Liners: F.O.B. Smoketown, PA

Truck: We ship on carts in our own climate-controlled trucks. Call Green Leaf Plants Customer Service or your sales representative for minimums and freight quote. Special discounted freight rates are available for truckload volumes.

Boxed Shipments: We use Federal Express for most boxed shipments. This service works best for small orders and for customers outside normal truck routes.

Temperature extremes: If a boxed liner shipment is scheduled when freeze or heat damage is likely, Green Leaf Plants will contact consignee to discuss options, including (a) upgrading delivery to Priority Overnight Service to protect the product or (b) holding material for one week. Additional freight cost will be reflected on customer invoices.

Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Unrooted Cuttings: FOB Bogotá, Colombia.
All shipments go direct to consignee via Federal Express. Unrooted cuttings are not shipped via Green Leaf truck and cannot be picked up at our locations. All shipments are iced in hot weather, and re-iced in Miami at no extra charge from May - September.

Small Package: In most instances Small Package refers to Federal Express. This service works best for last minute orders and for customers outside normal truck routes.

Truck: In most cases please be aware trucks will need to have 24/7 access to a customer. Special discounted freight rates will be available to those who order truckload volumes.

LTL: We have expanded our list of LTL vendors and can provide service outside those areas covered by our truck routes.

Drop points: Customers that act as drop points, and customers picking up at these drop points, will be invoiced at regular truck rates with no minimum drop charge.

Cart shipping:
We deliver Florida product lines on carts to customers along established routes on the East Coast and in the Southern states between Florida and Texas. There is a two-cart minimum. Cart shipping to other areas will be considered if minimum volumes are met. In most cases we use one-way disposable carts.

Temperature extremes: If a product is shipping via small package service into an area where freeze or heat damage is likely, Green Leaf Plants reserves the right to upgrade the delivery to a Priority Overnight Service to protect the product. The additional cost will be reflected on the customer’s invoices.

 


All Shipments

Transportation Charges: F.O.B. shipping point.

Loss and Damaged Shipments: All shipments should be accepted from the carrier regardless of condition. If damage is apparent, or if the shipment is delivered short, a notation to that effect should be made on the carrier’s delivery receipt. If damage is of such a nature that it is not discovered until the boxes are unpacked, the carrier’s agent should be notified and arrangements made for an inspection. This should be done immediately after the discovery of the damage, but in no case later than 48 hours after discovery, to Customer Service Department at 800.321.9573.
